Baked bean theory and Twin films

The baked bean theory on films is the theory that when the Heinz baked beans came out in stores, they were a huge hit. Everyone was buying and eating them, and they became very well known very fast. Unfortunately, there were then many copies of these by other companies such as Branston.
This can be related to films. For example the Heinz beans could be 'Madagascar' and the cheap copy, as many people may call it, would be 'The Wild'. In both of these films, a group of animals escape from a zoo in order to go back to their natural habitat. This is an example of a twin film (the sort of film that your grandma will buy for christmas thinking its the original film). Other examples include:
'Up' and 'Up up and away'
'Tangled' and 'Tangled up'
'The Hunger games' and 'Maze runner'
These films were created only because of the success of the original versions and the people who create them are very lazy as they manage to get a portion of the market for very little work.
